A Neighbor in Need
Ms. Allen, a 71-year-old homeowner in Portland, reached out for help with her yard. With limited income and difficulty managing physical tasks, even simple upkeep had become overwhelming. During our visit, we discovered an additional concern—a broken back gate that posed a security risk.
A History of Care
Catalyst has been part of Ms. Allen’s journey before, replacing her roof in 2022. That roof, however, faced a new challenge: a towering pine tree that constantly dropped needles, creating buildup and potential damage.
Rolling Up Our Sleeves
To protect her home and restore peace of mind, our team went above and beyond. We:
Cleared a heavy layer of pine needles from the roof
Cleaned out clogged gutters
Trimmed back multiple overhanging branches
Raked the yard free of needles and leaves
These efforts not only improved the safety and appearance of her property but also helped preserve the integrity of her home.
More Than Just Yard Work
For Ms. Allen, this wasn’t just about maintenance—it was about security, dignity, and knowing someone cares. We’re honored to stand alongside her and ensure her home remains a safe and welcoming place.
