Standing With Ms. Hall in Her Time of Need

For 16 years, Ms. Hall has treasured her mobile home—a place she has continued to care for despite facing serious respiratory health challenges. Yet for far too long, she has lived in conditions that put her health and safety at risk.
Through Catalyst’s DEEP Initiative, Ms. Hall is finally receiving the critical repairs her home has needed for years. This initiative focuses on restoring homes while building meaningful, ongoing relationships with homeowners. Significant strides have been made over the past two years to stabilize her home and create a safer, healthier environment.

Why This Pack & Clean Project Mattered

This Pack & Clean effort was a vital step toward preparing Ms. Hall’s home for the next two major restoration phases within the DEEP Initiative.
Our volunteers approached the work with compassion and care—thoughtfully packing Ms. Hall’s belongings to prepare the space for a larger team to address mold damage, replace water‑damaged sheetrock, and repair window framing weakened by long-term water intrusion.
Once the home was cleared, volunteers continued their efforts by thoroughly cleaning surfaces affected by insulation debris, dirt, and mold left behind after the ceiling collapsed from the failing roof.

A Community That Cares

It was truly inspiring to watch neighbors come together—lifting, sorting, cleaning, and supporting with genuine compassion. Their dedication made a daunting task feel hopeful.

With Deep Gratitude

We are profoundly grateful for every volunteer who showed up.
Your kindness is creating lasting change—and giving Ms. Hall the safe, healthy home she deserves.
