Discovering an Opportunity to Save
During the Home Energy Assessment at Ms. Agrimson’s home, we identified an opportunity to make her home more energy‑efficient and comfortable. Her existing hot water heater was outdated and no longer operating efficiently—making it an ideal candidate for an upgrade.
A Meaningful Upgrade at No Cost
Through the Catalyst NW Energy Conservation Program (ECP), in partnership with Energy Trust of Oregon initiatives, we were able to replace her old system with a brand‑new Heat Pump Water Heater (HPWH)—completely at no cost to Ms. Agrimson.
Ongoing Savings and Everyday Comfort
This upgrade is expected to reduce her hot water heating costs by 60–70% each year, adding up to approximately $150–$350 in annual savings. Beyond the financial relief, the new HPWH ensures dependable hot water, ready whenever she needs it—24 hours a day.
Efficiency That Brings Peace of Mind
This improvement isn’t just about energy efficiency; it’s about comfort, reliability, and knowing that her home is working smarter for her every day.
