A Longtime Home, Now in Need

Mr. and Mrs. Davidson have lived in their Beaverton home for many years. But with Mrs. Davidson facing serious medical challenges and the couple struggling financially, including difficulty making mortgage payments, they’ve been unable to keep up with essential home repairs.

Neighbors Helping Neighbors

When the Davidsons reached out for help, Catalyst, in partnership with Beaverton Christian Church, responded with open hands and hearts, offering support with no strings attached.

Two Days of Transformation

Over the course of two days, volunteers came together to:

  • Replace half of a deteriorating fence

  • Clear away yard debris

  • Trim hazardous tree branches

  • Landscape for both safety and beauty

  • Plant fresh flowers to brighten the home’s exterior

The Ripple Effect of Compassion

One of the most moving moments came when a former Catalyst client who had received help the previous year returned to serve and pay it forward. Their desire to give back created a powerful, full-circle moment that inspired everyone involved.
