Mr. Bowen is a 84-year-old man living with his wife in their Canby manufactured home. They both have significant health deficits including poor eyesight (neither of them can drive) and loss of hearing. They simply do not have the physical ability or financial resources to take care of some large, critical repair needs of their home. They could really use our help.
We are joined forces with our awesome partners & volunteers and made structural flooring repairs to multiple locations throughout their home, as well as replaced a bath/shower and both bathroom floors. This was a big project that required removal of most of their home’s furnishings to a temporary U-Haul truck which was then, followed by 3 days of construction work, and then we put everything back together for them.
Thank you to all the amazing volunteers who served on this project, so that Mr. & Mrs. Bowen can continue to live safely in their home!
