Bringing Warmth and Efficiency: Ms. Chastain’s Home

Ms. Chastain, an 81-year-old single woman, has been working toward a more energy-efficient home. In 2024, our Energy Conservation Program helped insulate her crawl space, significantly improving her home's warmth and comfort. During the project, we discovered that three of her windows were outdated and inefficient. Thanks to our partnership with Lifetime Windows, we were able to replace two of them. This week, with the support of our dedicated volunteer team, we installed the final window—completing the transformation and ensuring a cozier, more energy-efficient home for Ms. Chastain and her beloved dog.
